Booksmoore is the personal blog of Chad Allen Moore, who is me.  The title is a play on the phrase “books & more” and hints at one of my main interests in life, great books. I was the kid laughed at for reading from the encyclopedia and the one who got in trouble trying to read a book hidden just below my desktop in grade school. Anyways, this blog is about anything I find interesting, helpful, humorous, or worthy of discussion with a focus on great books, the great ideas, theology, church life, and some side trails on productivity, business, and management. Just so you know, I’m unapologetically Christian of the Bible-believing sort and so I will without hesitation look to the Scriptures in any of these areas of discussion.

I live in the Hoosier State, Indiana, in Bloomington where I was born and bred and now raise my own family.  I am married to the lovely Tonya Michelle through whom God has blessed me with two handsome boys and one beautiful daughter.  During the day I work as IT Manager and chief programmer for the Indiana Limestone Company, and in my spare time, I read, write, listen to music, and work on my M.Div. from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.  My family and I attend worship at Family Life Worship Center just north of Bloomington, IN.
