I have read Band of Brothers twice and it is my favorite non-fiction book. The story of E Company really opened my eyes to see all the suffering the soldiers went through to protect our country. Band of Brothers made me appreciate those men who served this country and the men and women who serve our country now. I have also watched the HBO series of Band of Brothers and have to say they did an excellent job. There was some parts of the book that were left out, but all the important events were covered. Band of Brothers has helped me understand even if just a little the sacrifices those young men made for America and I am extremely grateful for their service. Thank you Easy Company and all WWII veterans!
